A Little Farm and Nursery....

Updated: Feb 20, 2020

We are very excited to announce a bit of change at the Nursery. We’ve been open for business for about six months- Holy Cow! In that time, we’ve been able to get situated and settle into what we want the Nursery to look like. For those of you who have been following our progress and have had discussions with us, you know that we are planning on working the fields by putting in fruit and vegetables. We hope to offer fresh produce options at the barn as well as directly from the fields as You Pick. We are and have been growing onsite as well. We hope that we can offer homegrown plants, particularly vegetables, to you this Spring. Soon you'll start seeing more trees, shrubs and perennials as well as annuals filling up the yard as the weather warms up.

With this and a bit of downtime this winter, we’ve realized that it’s time for a name change to better aligned ourselves with what we are offering you. You will soon see a new sign going up. We are excited to announce that we will be "A Little Farm and Nursery".

It seems perfect timing as well have already begun to plant our blueberry bushes and getting the fields ready for spring and summer crops. We’ve already added our chickens to the farm with the hopes of them helping us work the fields with their scratching and manure, as well as offering farm fresh eggs to you. As everything progresses, we hope to add more variety to our farm animals. Orders have been placed for many more native and ornamental trees, shrubs, native perennials and annuals. We are participating as a Maryland Native Tree Program as well as American Beauties Native Plants and Proven Winners retailer. Our bulk and bagged materials are also in to help you with your landscaping. Of course bird food and animal feed is also in our Barn.

We appreciate all of the love from you guys and are beyond excited for this upcoming Spring Season. We hope to see you down on the farm soon!

Until then, you’ll find us playing in the dirt.

Andrew and Christy Little
